North Shore
Nature Programs

***Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, North Shore Nature Programs has made the difficult decision to cancel all in-person programming through July 25. This includes our Wild About Nature summer camp. However, we are offering a virtual summer camp from June 22-July 24. For more information on our decision to close click here. We are an environmental education organization dedicated to helping students of all ages fall in love with nature. We work with schools, community groups, and individuals to provide engaging, informative programs that help explain the world around us. Encourage your child to get outside and explore!

About Us

At North Shore Nature Programs, we provide programs for schools, groups, and people of all ages to help them better understand the world around them.

Programs

It is easy to forget that humans are an integral part of a worldwide ecosystem and that we depend on our environment for our survival. North Shore Nature Programs’ goal is to restore this lost connection to nature.

Summer Camp

We will engage students of all ages in learning through the wonders of nature, and in so doing, establish a deep, life-long connection between people and place. Sign up your child today!

Our Story

North Shore Nature Programs was founded in 2013 by Andrew Prazar, a veteran environmental educator. During his 15 year career in the field, he has spent thousands of hours in the field and worked for organizations such as Mass Audubon and Merrohawke Nature School. He obtained his Master’s degree in environmental education from the University of New Hampshire in 2013. A life-long lover of nature, he is dedicated to exploring the North Shore area and sharing his knowledge of local ecosystems.
